What is the 'Clean Air' Programme? 

The 'Clean Air' Programme is a Polish government initiative that aims to improve air quality by supporting owners of single-family houses in the modernisation and thermo-modernisation of their buildings. The programme offers subsidies and loans for various measures to increase the energy efficiency of homes and reduce harmful emissions.

 

Is the programme currently available?

Yes! Applications can be submitted until funds are exhausted or until 2027.

 

What can be subsidised?

Grants can be obtained for, among other things:

 

  • Energy audit
  • Comprehensive thermo-modernisation
  • Heat pumps
  • Solid fuel boilers (coal and biomass)
  • Gas and oil boilers
  • Domestic heating and hot water installation
  • Installation of mechanical ventilation with heat recovery
  • Insulation of building partitions
  • Replacement of external doors and garage doors
  • Solar collectors
  • Photovoltaic installations
  • Development of project documentation related to modernisation works

What is the maximum value and percentage of funding?

A maximum of 136,200 can be obtained. Funding can be between 100% and 40% of the total costs. For example, at a cost of PLN 50,000 for the purchase of appliances and services, the subsidy can vary between PLN 50,000 and PLN 20,000. The exact percentage and value of the subsidy depends on the household income and the type of equipment and services ordered.

 

Who can apply for funding?

A person who owns a house or flat and whose annual household income does not exceed PLN 135,000.

What is the application procedure?

  • Checking the Programme Conditions: Before the application process begins, ensure you meet the programme's eligibility conditions.
  • Registering with the System: To apply, you must register with a special online system set up for the programme - we can do this for you!
  • Completing the Application: In the system, you must fill in the application form with all the required information, such as personal details, property information, and planned investments.
  • Attaching Required Documents: Attach the required documents to the application, e.g. proof of ownership of the property, design of the planned works, and cost estimates.
  • Submission of the Application: After completing the application and attaching all documents, the application should be submitted through the online system.
  • Awaiting Decision: Once the application has been submitted, there is a verification process by the relevant authorities. Once the verification is complete, you will receive a decision to grant or deny the funding.
  • Project Implementation and Settlement: Once you have received your grant, you can proceed with the implementation of the project. Upon completion, you will need to account for the funds used.
  • Checking and Monitoring: In some cases, the use of funds and the results of the investment may be checked after the project has been completed.
